Refund & Cancellation Policy

Because Shadowbit editions are bespoke hardware runs fabricated against committed pre-orders, our policies are designed to be transparent, fair, and hobbyist-friendly. Clear terms are always summarized prior to order checkout.

Order cancellations

• Within 24 Hours of Ordering: You may cancel your order for any reason for a 100% full refund with zero deductions. Simply write to orders@shadowbit.in with your order number.
• During Open Pre-Order Window: After 24 hours but before the drop closes, orders can be cancelled for a full refund minus non-recoverable payment gateway transaction fees (2%).
• After Production Commences: Once the drop window closes and custom CNC machining, UV back-weight printing, and assembly begin at the factory, cancellations cannot be processed except in the case of significant delivery delay.

Production guarantee & delivery delays

• Batch Guarantee: If a planned drop cannot proceed to fabrication for any reason, 100% of collected pre-orders are refunded immediately.
• Extended Delay Protection: If a shipment is delayed more than 8 weeks past the published ship month, customers may choose to either maintain their priority allocation or receive an immediate 100% refund upon request.

Transit damage & defective units

Every board undergoes multi-point functional testing prior to packaging. If an item arrives with functional flaws or transit damage:

• Notify support@shadowbit.in within 7 days of delivery with clear photos or an unboxing video.
• Shadowbit provides a complimentary return pickup and immediate replacement of the affected module, PCB, or complete board. If a replacement cannot be provided, a full refund is issued.

12-Month limited warranty

All Shadowbit keyboards include a 1-year limited warranty covering manufacturing defects on the PCB, hot-swap sockets, linear switches, volume knob potentiometer, and USB-C controller under standard typing and gaming use.

The warranty does not cover accidental liquid spills, drops, or physical damage caused by forcing switches into hot-swap sockets with bent pins.

Refund timelines

Approved refunds are credited back to your original payment method (UPI, credit/debit card, or net banking) within 5 to 7 business days.
